This bungalow was just too small, although in a great location. The square footage was doubled by building a second story, adding a family room, and enlarging the kitchen. They got all new windows, foundation, roof, siding, stucco, decks, and slate fireplace. They kept the front door and the bay window. The first floor has cherry trim, including doors and wainscoting in the dining room that evoke the era of the original home. My clients were overwhelmed with all the choices in materials and color that they had to make throughout the project, including their brand new kitchen and 4 bathrooms and were happy to have me to guide them in their selection along with their architect Kathy Rogers. They were happy to have their dream home after waiting 18 years!
